They live a simple life in the country side but are always moving around. They have a love a books and tresure them almost as much as they care for each other. One day Mo's past comes back to haunt him and man named dustfinger. Dustfinger comes back for a favor he know's only Mo can help him with.(this is where the story becomes interesting) Mo says he can't do it anymore and can't help dustfinger out. Meggy is listening to the conversation and finds out that dustfinger is a character in a story book and Mo's special ability is he can read people out of stories. The night that Mo read dustfinger out of the story he also read to villians who are killers, out of the same story. It is also the night that as the 3 people came out of the story Meggy's mother was sent into the book. Since then Mo's hasn't read a book outloud. This is just the beggining it get so much better.
