hey i think morrowind is the best game on the xbox... i just wanna come pare my skills....with others

Armor: Full glass,full orcish

Wepon: Ebonye long sword,glass long sword

Skills: 48 med armor,41 longblade--Its a Mics skill--,32 conjucton,34 secierity,.........and all are 20++

The guy that I am currently working on is a level forty something, and as far as wealth goes, it is in the millions. I've invested hundreds of hours into this game, and in fact, Morrowind is my most favored game thus far...

Yes, Morrowind is one of the best games ever made!

It's taken me a while to reach this conclusion, but I think Oblivion actually surpasses Morrowind in greatness... So, yeah, I've made up my mind, Oblivion is better than Morrowind.

Eh I've invested who know how much hour into Oblivion, and I'm just starting Morrowind but it is a great game, and in many ways beats Oblivion like how it has levitation, deeper lore, better environments, more weapons, and armor, etc. Oblivion's great but I have a feeling I'll like Morrowind more.

What I do want is remake of Morrowind with Oblivion's graphics and gamepleay instead of it's dice role gameplay. There was a mod called Morroblivion but was cancelled by Bethesda.

Don't get me wrong, Morrowind's storyline takes the cake any day and you won't ever find me arguing that fact. What really shifts me over to Oblivion was the small things.. Speech for example. In Morrowind the NPCs don't speak, yet in Oblivion they do. Another thing is graphics, you can't beat the best graphics of 2007..
I agree that fast travel took most of the adventure away, however, personally, I got enough exploration in. I reckon I touched most of the world.
I also preferred Oblivions caves, ruins, temples... Better detail and much more to do within them.

Well yeah you're right about the speech having to read everything is a pain in the ass, and persuasion in the game is better, combat, etc. But don't compare graphics that's like saying 2007 is better than 2002 because it's more recent. As far environment goes I like Morrowind's cties way bettter cause of the diverstiy between like Vivec, to Ald Ruhn, Balmora. And the Dwemer ruins and Daedric ruins in my opinion are much better than Oblivion Cave's, Dungeons, etc. which all pretty much looked the same and as Savage said Leveled loot as well as randomized loot really takes away the incentive to go treasure hunting. Well both are great though I guess and it just depends on waht you prefer, Oblivion was more usefriendly and Morrowind was in my opinion a much deeper RPG.

I remember playing Oblivion [for the first time] for a few hours but deciding to first complete the mages/fighters/thieves guilds before I really got into the story.. you know, just to strengthen my character before I got into the real action... After completing the guilds and many odd jobs I came back to the story. I played for about two hours and completed the game...
Oblivions storyline was pretty short and crap. I did, however, enjoy the side missions and guild missions...

The story I actually liked Oblivion's main quest better, it has that feeling urgency that you have to do with all those Oblivion gates popping everywhere and the fact that you're not the star of the main quest is nice change of pace. There were also some memorable parts like the battle of Bruam and paradise, as well as the last quest.And while Morrowind had more factions I think that Oblivion had better storyline to the factions sepcially the DB and KOTN.

Ya I haven't played Oblivion but once at my local GameStop.So I'm not giving my opinon.But I have Morrowind for my PC and enjoy it.I like doing the side missions first to train up (as said earlier).I'm level 7 or 8.
