Casey and Miguel approached So-low's club on the waterfront with some hesitation. The parking lot was completely empty. Which means there weren't any civilians inside. So-low only closed down the club if something bad was happening. Or if he knew something bad happened and the next bad thing was going to happen to him. He knew about the infiltration of Medici tower. Which made Casey and Miguel's job harder.
"Why don't you just let Damien know that the cat that killed his parents is here?" Miguel asked.
"Because I want to handle this myself." Casey said.
"How do you want to do this?" Miguel asked.
"I'm thinking we run in shooting." Casey said.
"There are more guns in there than we can take." Miguel said.
"I'm not worried." Casey said.
"I sure as hell am." Miguel said."I didn't sign up to die."
Casey laughed at the irony of this statement."What did you sign up for?" He asked.
"To help you get out of trouble. So far, all we've done is gotten deeper into trouble." Miguel said.
"We've also gotten answers." Casey said."And you are helping me get out of trouble."
"How about we split up." Miguel suggested."You go through the left side enterance and I'll go through the back."
"The back?" Casey wondered.
"This is a drug club. They need a place to take in their shipments of drugs. It wouldn't be in the front. The back of the club is facing the river. It's all so perfect. They can take boats full of drugs in the back." Miguel explained.
"All right." Casey said."I'll go left, you go in the back."
"Yes."Miguel said."Let's go."
Casey and Miguel split up. Miguel went to the back of the building and Casey went to the side door. Casey's cell phone rang.
"It's Miguel." The caller said.
"We go on three." Casey said while sliding the hammer back."One...Two....Three!"
Casey pushed his door open. Most of the men were watching the front door and were taken completely by surprise. Casey was able to kill three of them within the first thirty seconds. Then he was forced to take cover behind some crates and reload. Bullets tore into the side of the crate and were lost in the contents of it. Casey counted to five and popped out of cover, shot four times, then returned to cover. Gunshots drown out any other noise that might have been being made. Until the back of the building shattered with a crash louder than a gun could produce. A boat soared into the club and slid into the middle of the dance floor. Miguel was sitting in the driver's seat with a wide grin on his face. He pulled both of his chrome glocks out and emptied both clips in opposite directions. Casey shook his head and grinned.
"Showoff!" He yelled.
Then Casey ran out from behind cover and layed fire down on a machine gun in the office window while Miguel went to flank it. Miguel climbed the stairs in front of the office, killing, and shooting guys the whole while. There was a large amoutn of men in the club. After Miguel was up the stairs Casey rolled out from behind cover and ran to rejoin him. Miguel kicked open the office door and shot the two men that were inside. Casey reached him in time to shoot a man that was sneaking up behind him. After a quick gunfight the shooting had stopped.
"Where's So-low?" Miguel asked Casey.
Outside a boat started up. Casey and Miguel sprinted down the stairs and back to the rear enterance of the building. So-low flew by on a speed boat. He waved at the two of them and made a gesture that looked like and explosion. Casey caught it and dove into the water, taking Miguel with him. The club exploded behhind them and sent flaming timber soaring through the air. Casey rose from underwater and looked desperately for Miguel. A speedboat pulled up beside him. Miguel sat in the driver's seat.

I don't know how you do it, but you manage to write some pretty kick ass action. A great chapter like usual, me feeling guilty, like usual.
I'm collecting my thoughts on my next chapter, I had a dream a while back that had something in it that I might add to the story, neatest part is that I unknowingly have already wrote a bit of a set up for it....fate perhaps?
Also, my firstborn son should be named Stephen, after the great Stephen Colbert....plus Colbert would kick Megatron and Optimus Prime's asses at the same time.

Thanks. This one was going to be longer but I was being pushed to leave by my mother so I just posted what I had. As for Stephen Colbert, you are correct my friend. Colbert would use the power of word twisting to his advantage. I hope to post the last chapter tomorrow. Razz Mat Azz
