The motives are super-annoying, but easy to cure. Tell me the most annoying. (AKA Most Ununderstandable.) The room one..definately. Everything else can be solved easily, but they are just never damn happy with their environment! You know what, I'll second that.  I really don't know the right formula for a room.  It seems they like large spaces, but not every room can be large.  I mean, come on, there's a limited amount of yard space, and who ever heard of a huge bathroom?  And if I put too many paintings and flowers, it can become too cluttered.  Sometimes I have had a small house, with a good environment, and a large house with a bad environment, which is kind of messed up.  I don't know, but I have always ignored that bar, since it would have driven me insane if I actually cared about it. Environment is easy, and you can make it change easily. The most annoying motive is "social". Countless times have my Sims fallen to the floor crying because they haven't been talking enough. Screw that! Why can't I just stick 'em at a PC and be done with it?! That's the same reason I hate it! Especially the bathroom. I mean, if you stick a painting of Jesus (It looks like Him) in the room, if they use the bathroom on the floor, guess what happens next: The room meter soars down to the bottom. I too don't ike it when the social motive drops. Their crys are dumb. They sounded funny from the start, and if the room and social motives fall, then youl definitely quit the game. Super Smash Bros. Have you played The Sims 2?  I actually didn't like it, I don't know why.  Perhaps because not much is new.  But it did have the social bunny, which is an imaginary friend that shows up if your sim isn't social.  And then their social bar automatically fills up.  So it doesn't really matter, except for the fact that your sim has lost their mind.
