The Admins have decided that in order to promote the growth of this forum that flamming, which was until this point given a lot of leniency will be strictly enforced. The reason for this is that the new members are not going to be well versed in forum etiquette, and because of that insults usual fly in there direction. I personally, and I am sure that I am not the only one, once acted very much like your stereotypical newbie, but the forum when I joined was one that allowed a new member to grow and become a decent member. The current actions of this community have shown that things have changed, and not for the better but for the worse. From this point on, flame of any kind will not be tolerated and the punishments for attacking another member will come easy and fast.

Eh, I will be lazy however. If I see flame, I'm just going to delete the post, of if I'm feeling nice I'll just edit out the flame if it's convienent.
Recommendation to members:
When responding in a thread, it is highly recommended that you do not click "reply" on a post containing flame. When deleting a post, all child posts (posts that responded to the original one) are deleted also. Just click "reply" on a different post and go about your merry way.

I'm all for this as long as we actually stick by it rather than let it keal over and not do crap about it, for instance, the "family friendly" thread. That was ignored entirely.

It's about time this was put to rule. Leniency on any flame is truly unacceptable and is considered a "harsh spam".

I see little point in this. I don't care much for flaming, but what harm does it do, really? If you're doing it strictly for the unnecessary quality of it, then, by all means, do it; but if you're doing it because it has some sort of "negative effect" on others, you're kidding yourself. No one really gives a darn if they're insulted anymore...

From my stand point, I'm just sick of reading it. It's unneccesary and immature. I can give two shits if your feelings are hurt, but I'd rather not have to read it anyway.
