Well I am really shy person so i dont really talk to people unless I know them really well.  And with the past 2 girls I wanted to hook up with it didnt work well because I didn't talk to much unless it is texting or something.  I really want something to happen between me and this girl but I don't know what to say to her and need help. If you're friends with one of her friends then start to hang around that friend. By doing that you get close to the girl you want to hook up with, you could get to know her well. Once you've gone past the stage of being shy, with her, ask her on a date. As is commonly said in these instances, you need confidence; so your best bet is to get comfortable with her socially first, you'd be rather turned off if some chick out of the blue came up to you and said "umm....I was wondering if you'd, umm.....kinda....go out with me?" (which would be really odd since women tend not to ask guys out) So become good friends with her first. Well thats the problem I don't even talk to her and I talk to one of her friends but only texting... Whatever you do, don't ruin it by first texting her. That happened to me once, a while ago. I started texting a girl before I even knew her and we hit it off but it never worked out too well, I don't know why... Just talk to her a few times before asking her out. Wait wait wait...so you haven't even talked to this girl, only her friend? Dude, step one would be to TALK to the girl you like. The more you talk to her (even if it's just simple 'hey, how are ya') the more comfortable you'll be around her and the easier it'll be to later ask her out.
