I missed my chance to post my thoughts on this subject. As well as saying what my favorite character is. So I'm posting it anyway.
Hands down the best game on GameCube is LOZ: Twilight Princess. I saw that someone had said that SMSB: melee was the only game worth buying for GameCube. SMSB: Melee blows something serious. It's a little kids game as far as any fighting game is concerned. Besides you're missing out on a lot of good games like; Metriod Prime 1 & 2, RE4, etc. Of course this is a matter of opinion saying that SMSB: Melee stinks. If you think GameCube games aren't worth buying I wonder why you even play or why you even came into these threads.
My favorite GC character is Midna from LOZ: Twilight Princess. Through out the game til late in the game I questioned her motives on helping me and I wondered if she would eventually stab me in the back. She seemed sinister, while she was using Link to work towards her own goals.
I saw someone make the comment "Yoshi and Mario are nintendo trademarks." Duh, all Nintendo characters are trademarks of Nintendo (minus the few games that are on all the other consoles aswell). Mario was floating in the water with GameCube because of SMSB and I think that is mostly because a lot of people other than little kids most of been really bored to really think those games rank in the top lists of any number.
There are only two games that got their own cartoon shows. Mario and Zelda. I wonder if any of you remember watching those shows.

Sadly I've nver heard of those games though they all sound pretty interesting. Most of the stores near me never had any good games for GameCube sadly.

Glad you liked it. If I'm going to play a fighting game I'm going to play my xbox and play some DOA, or anything else that deserves to be in the fighting game genre as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong Melee is entertaining, and fun to play with a roomful of friends. However it is no where near th best or only good game that some few people claim that it is. Everyone that believes that should just walk outside their homes and just give their GC to some random person. I'm sure that person would better appreceiate the console rather than letting it sit there not realising it's full potential. I think people who think that should goto a game shop and buy another game, take Melee out of their console and try something new. Think of it as a day of enlightenment.
WindWaker was a fun game, I'm not really a fan of hunting games but they are pretty cool. The last one I played I think it might have been on one of the new consoles. It had really good graphics and I was attacked by a bear. lol
