i can get one game (cheap parents, i know)

dont know if i should get the MGS essentials collection, to get caught up for MGS4.

Warhawk, wanted it as soon as i got my ps3, but mostly for the mic, but it looks fairly good.

Or Oblivion, probably one of the most talked about games and easily over 100hrs of gameplay.

If you want MGS4 to be the next game you get (after this one) get the MGS Collections.

If you dont care when you get your next game get Oblivion.

I say wait for Warhawk.A good game,but with GTA 4 and MGS 4 coming out it will be left in the dust.

But me I would get Oblivion,tons of fun with that game even though Im not that far into it.

Hey dude. I suggest Call of Duty 4. The missions are awesome, and online kicks ass. If you havn't played the old MGS games, and ur planing on getting MGS4 defidently get the essentials pack. And good luck with those over protective parents.

If you haven't played the Metal Gear Solid titles, definitely go with the essentials collection.
If you have, then it's a toss-up between a multiplayer game and a RPG.

MGS Essentials is named that way for a reason you know...

HOWEVER, we've quite sometime before MGS4 is in our hands... an excellent game to soak up ALL of your time is clearly Oblivion GOTY Edition.

it all comes down to how much money you'll have when MGS4 comes out... if the answer to that question just happens to be, "not enough" then wtf are you doing buying games now??? save!!!!!!!

*** it, just get MGS. theres no failure there.

That's a pretty hard choice.....Mgs or Oblivion....Well MGS has a better story plus If you never played MGS you should get It.

Then Oblivion has hundreds of hours of gameplay..
