For anyone who enjoys mystery or suspense books I highly recommend Michael Crichton. A number of his books have been turned into movies including Jurassic Park, Sphere, Congo, and Timeline. My favorite by far is State of Fear which is all about global warming and radical environmentalists. An amazing read for anyone.

I like State of Fear, Timeline was amazing, but Prey was his best book and my favorite.

What the hell is this! You didn't even mention The Andromeda Strain, that book was fricken awesome, I'm pretty sure it became a movie before any of those other ones.

I just noticed it's been seven years since I read that book.

I completely forgot about The andromeda Stain! (how could I?) that was amazing it was so descriptive about the coagulated blood and the secret lab. The end was not so great when the virus sudenly became harmless...what if it mutated again and became deadly again...huh?

Whitenized the spoiler.

Yeah I loved that book, I'll definately have to re-read it one of these days....after I've finished reading the twenty or so books I've bought over the past six months.
