02-14-2008, 11:13 PM MidNiteRunner Joined on 12-14-2006 Since 1989 Midnite and Wii the People's Lost Discussion...Bumped weekly *SPOILERS* *Don't let the threads name discourage you from posting.  I just named it that since it is usually Wii th people and I that post here.* For those people who still watch Lost *CoughWiiThePeopleCoughImLookingInYourDirectionCough*  I would like to ask you one question: What The ***?  I am seriously confused.  So much is going on, It makes my head spin. A few Questions I would like to put forward: Why is Sayid working for Ben? Does Ben count as one of the Oceanic Six? Did Kate Really stay on her own will? What did Dan mean about the light not spreading right? The Rocket thing...Is that proof that there is a time difference between the rest of the world and the Island? Who is Ben's Spy on the ship? I actually got back into the show this season, after a lengthy catch-up. But, like you, I'm terribly confused. Been a fantastic season thus far though, can't wait to have some of these explained. I questioned myself why the hell Sayid was working for Ben, he obviously will make some of bond with him on the island. especially because so far I think only Sayid is aware of Ben's different passports. I assume they are trying to kill everyone who knew something about the island. I am mostly confused how Ben lived in the world outside the island when they clearly have shown flashbacks of his life growing up on the island. 2. I doubt that ben is considered as one of the Oceanic Six considering he was not on the plane that crashed. Plus it seems like he is in hiding. 3. "Did Kate stay on her own will?" I'm not sure what you mean by this question. It sounds like your asking if she left the island(which it shows she did). However I'm still not exactly sure what you mean. 4. Dan...Don't have the new guys names memorized correctly, and I guess I missed that part. 5. The time difference theory is a possibility. However my first reaction to the delay of the rocket was that it the island had a barrier around it and the rocket had finally found an entrance past it. Which would lead me to believe why the chemist told the pilot to fly exactly the same way they came in. 6. The spy on Ben's ship I'm still not sure about. Seriously it could be anyone. Possibilities: Random person we've never seen, one of the others, Michael or Walt, The guy who visited Hurly in the insane ward, during his flash forward. These are just guesses because of my confusion...However its nice to be able to discuss possible theories no matter how unrealistic they are. This Weeks Questions and Observations: Why the *** is Kate taking care of Aaron?  Did something happen to Claire?  Why is Jack so hesitant to go visit to Aaron?  Is he partially responsible for the situation? In season 1 the psychic says that Claire and only Claire has to take care of Aaron.  He said that if anyone besides Claire took care of him, then there would be doom or something along those lines...What does that mean for Kate? Locke has totally lost it.  He is crazy with power.  Then to top it off he does the grenade thing at the end.  I cant stand the guy anymore. There was a scene where Dan and Charlotte are playing with the cards.  Dan is trying to guess which cards are presented, and he gets frustrated.  I'm thinking that he is suffering amnesia or he has "psychic" abilities.  Again just a theory... What happened to the helicopter? and thats pretty much all I can think of right now. Okay, yes I was extremely surprised when she said her kids name was Aaron. Claire either must have died, and asked Kate to take care of Aaron, or people who give birth on the island cannot leave or they will die(they had that fertility problem, so why not this). Maybe Claire left the island and instantly died, or maybe she stayed(but that does not really make sense, why would she stay without her child). 2. I do not believe Jack has something to do with Claire's possible death. I know it seems unlikely, but its always a possibility that he thinks it is Sawyer's child. 3. I do not know how to answer this question, I am really confused on this one, I guess will have to wait to see if the fortune tellers prediction comes true. 4. Locke has been pissing me off lately to. I used to think he was cool and a good person, however he's starting to show more of a dark side in every episode and Ben is definetly getting into his head. I think he fear's he not listening to Walt and is possibly losing his special connection to the island. Huego might be getting some connection with the island though. 5. Dan I think has a problem with his brain where if he is not reminded of what is happening he will forget. I do not believe he always had this problem, however some chemistry gone wrong maybe. I say this because I remember a episode or two back when they show him in the future, and he's watching television. He start's crying, and someone ask's him why, and he answer's, "I don't know". 6. Helicopter must be off the radar as its traveling between two different dimensions or something like that. There must be something that block's people from coming on the island, and getting off. Maybe a time difference or something like that. New Discussion Topic: I was talking with my friend about the show and we started talking about the smoke monster. I know its not the current focus in the show, but he relted it to when Huego found Jacob's house. There were two guys in the house. The guy in the rocking chair was Jacob, but the guy who looked through the glass window and freaked Huego...could that possibly be the smoke monster who shapeshifted into a human? Now, combining those three peices of info, it would support your theory.  See, if Vincent the Dog is the Black smoke monster then he could surely tranform into a human.  More specifically the human in side Jacob( Christain Cheppard's) cabinet.  I dont know if it was just me, but I got the feeling that the second guy in the cabinet was working for Jacob, sort of a hench men character... I dont know if they made sense, but think about it.
