Thought we needed a thread where members can post any cool download links. Post content such as: game addons, game demos, legal ebooks, legal music, freeware,
shareware software, screensavers, desktop themes, skins, patches,
service pack.
You cannot post the following:
-Warez [cracked/pirated software]
-Torrents
-Data that is not licenced to be publicly available on the Internet
-Self advetisement or promotional content - unless you have surpassed the 150 post guideline.
You must:
-Post links to direct specific software not sites in general as mentioned above.
-State whether the software you have posted is free or not. Make sure to state the price, if it does cost at all.
-Give a description of the link you post
Failure to comply with the guidelines will result in a post delete and a warning. Break the rules a second time and a report will be sent to an admin requesting an immediate suspension.
Also use this thread to request software.

Teewars -- Great free online game that is like a non-turn-based Worms with Kirby's
as the characters. This is the closest to a direct download page.
Just click on your OS of choice on the left and the download will pop
up. It is in the early development stages right now, but it works
fine, and is plenty playable in it's current state.

YoYo Game Maker --An easy tool which gives you the opportunity to develop your very first game. Tutorials included.
Free OS
Ubuntu -- A great "free" OS.
Browsers
Firefox -- A great browser which actually works with this site.
Opera -- Another free browser within Firefox's standards.
Graphic Programs
Gimp -- basically use this if you can't afford Photoshop.
Free Word Processors
OpenOffice.org Writer -- A bit struck for cash? Can't afford Word? Try this neat free word processor.
Extras
PortableApps.com Suite -- A suite of portable apps to stick onto your USB. Try them out.
Unlocker -- Quote: How often have you tried to delete or rename a file or folder and got "Cannot delete xxx: It is being used by another person or program." ? Unlocker is a tool which will help you removing this scandaleous Windows bug. Simply right click the file or folder and select Unlocker. If the file or folder is locked then a window will appear with a list of processes locking the file or folder. Select the locks and click Unlock and you are done.

Fixed, I am now obeying the rules, hehe. You were also a *** for editing that in after I made the post, I'm calling for everyone to point their fingers at Unri and say shame on you.
I can understand download.com, you can get anything from there. But if you are searching for games HOTU is a great site because they're dedicated to keeping it legal; plus with the wide collection of games it would be pretty damn hard to post links to all of the good ones. Anyways, I killed the rule because I feel HOTU deserves to stay....abusing of the powers? A little, but sometimes you have to go to the extreme.
