no doubt number one was good, hell it was great, but i like number two as of now, I'm at the part where they just brought Odette and her alter ego over to Roland's world. She's the second door by the way.

ya, the third door was the only one i liked. drawing of the three was so boring. i dont know what your talking about with action ace, cause the only good fight is at the end, in the third door.
and five was wolves of the calla. which was cool because of the salems lot connection, but it seemed like he spent WAY too much time in the little town, and not enough time on the journey. it was more of a side story almost. the fourth one seems like a side story, but near the end it really answers up a huge chunk of the questions brought up in the first three books.

Action in drawing of the three is the gunfight in the first door. and the lady's legs getting cut off was cool. It *** pissed me off when Roland (in white as not to ruin anything) got his fingers cut off by the lobster thing, pissed me the *** off! (over). Anyway i like it so far. Eddie (the junkie) is a pretty cool character. oh, and when his brother gets decapitated that was cool. Salem's Lot by the way was awsome! I may have already asked you this, but have you read needful things?
Its funny in the drawing of the three because King mentions the movie the shinging a couple of times.

Freaky, but i liked that book a lot. After i read the Dark Tower series i'm going to read the un-edited version of The Stand.

I read the unedited version of The Stand, and I'll just tell you this ace. If you want to read a ton of pointless and boring backstory, go ahead and get the un-edited version. Otherwise, read the dited version, I wish I had. Many people consider The Stand his best work. While I think it is ezcellent, and worth reading, I think it is too damn long.

ya, i've only read the unedited version as well. its long, its great, and as rael pointed out, full of a lot of back story (and current story) that reall has no point in the least.
i would consider it among his best, but i think he has alot better.

fine by me, the more story the better! I'm nearing the end of Drawing of the Three, about 50 pages away i guess, maybe 70.

yeah, he just threw the brick on Odetta's head when she was little and sees Jake. Did you really hate the book or just think the others were better.

haha, the *** got splattered by the subway! I'm on The Wastle Lands now and the book seems promising and action packed what with being attacked by a 75 foot cyborg bear 50 pages in. that was cool, i'm at the part where they just disovered the late bears lair.
