To help you better understand what these three special groups of members are I will post a relatively brief description of what they are and what they do below.
Admins (Administrators)
The Admins have complete control of the forum. They have the power to ban those that excessively break the rules, edit the look and layout of the forum (to a certain extent), as well as many other things. These members are comparable to the mayor of a city.

Mods (Moderators)
These members Moderate the posts that other members make by deleting, editing, and locking threads when necessary. These members are comparable to police officers, they are the enforcers of the forum's rules.

Elites
Elite members have no special abilities. They are simply a group of upper class helpful and rule abiding members.
