I looked it up and what I found was that one of his political enemies a few years after his death wrote the allegations into some form of pamphlet, that the Man was a Homosexual to Discredit him... So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was death, and Hades followed with him. You guys proved my point, thanks. Different religions, same God - yet you all fight to defend your own sub-section of that religion. Also pablo, you're COMPLETELY wrong about what you think of catholics. Catholics do not beleive priests, bishops, cardinals, the pope etc are the only ones who can speak to God. Everyone can speak to God. Priests are the "gateway" to God. We cannot ask God to directly forgive us, we must confess are sins to a priest, then God will forgive us. No where in the catholic faith does it say everyone can't speak to God. Really, this whole argument is pointless. Religious debates will never end, you beleive in one thing, another person beleives in another thing, another person...etc etc. All you do is pick holes in other peoples religions, instead of saying "Ok, you beleive this, but I beleive this, thats it." This is getting as pathetic as quoting references from the bible. I went to this giant catholic mass thing in D.C. for anti-abortion, with a family friend who invited out family. They even said (cardianl, bishop, whatever who was head of the event) that they only way to talk to God is through your a priest or in the hierarchy. You have to directly ask God for your forgiveness and repent...on your own. Confessing to a mortal who has no power to forgive you....That doesn't make sence Really, this whole argument is pointless. Pablo, trust me 11 years at catholic schools beats 1 catholic mass. I know what I'm talking about, I may not be christian, but I know ALOT about catholics. Catholic's pray to God - that is talking to God. Well, that destroy's what you think about catholics. Confession is a sacrament, and sacraments can only be carried about by a priest or whatever (baptist, reconciliation, communion, conformation, marriage, holy orders, last rights - the 7 catholic sacraments). Catholics are supposed to go the confession at least once a month, and confess their sins to a priest - therefore carrying out the sacrament of confession and being forgiven by God. Catholics can pray to God and ask for help on their own, but to be forgiven, a priest must be present - it is !NOT! the priest forgiving you, you are merely confessing your sins, and then God will forgive you. So, like I said, the more you do this, the more you're proving my point. You can't be that ignorant can you? Pablo, do you take communion? That is a SACRAMENT. Where you baptised? That is a SACRAMENT. Do you plan on getting married? That is a SACRAMENT.
