Or, possibly, a NORMAL HUMAN BEING. It's human nature to want to be liked, so you're going to try to be accepted or liked here no matter how hard you try (or say) you don't care. It's all in maturity, If your too immature to give a damn about people's feelings you're either a sociopath (which does have nothing to do with maturity) or here "for the lulz". Basically, you're either a sociopath or immature.

Or it could be that putting effort into this place is pointless. Some people try so hard in order to be liked around here by proving their intellect, their likeablity, or their skills but what is there really to gain? Not much. You can say that you have been accepted somewhere but online websites are not reality. If you want to try to be repected and liked then you should put effort into it in real life not the internet. Of course if you can eaisly be liked by people on the internet without any effort then good for you but actually trying to put effort into it seems like a waste of time.

If this place is pointless to put effort into.. Then why do you put so much effort in trying to prove its pointless? And like crazy said... Its HUMAN NATURE to want to be liked... Its also somewhat human nature to want to feel at least a little superior to those around you in some way or another.
