yeah, i forget what it was, but somebody told me that Naruto says something different in Japanese, that doesn't really mean "believe it."

Dubbings only killied naruto when he said "Believe it" all the time. In later episodes he doesnt say it nearly as often. Maybe once every 3 episodes.
That catchphrase made me wanto to smash the screen.

Don't make excuses for it, Naruto killed Naruto, PERIOD. There's too many *** flashbacks to even recognize the storyline.

Hey hey now Tai, Naruto was good for a bit when i was like, 10. But dubs did indeed kill it, although it wasn't al that great to start out with. I've watched a bit of shipuuden now, maybe like, ep 7 or 8 XD. I'll catch up once I either finish bleach, or the bounto arc at least (now ep 103 XD).

I don't talk *** about shows I haven't seen. That's why when I trash a show, it's because I've seen at least a few episodes of it. It's kinda my policy to get each new anime a chance, so I always watch a few episodes of it before deciding if I like it or not (hence why I can say with absolute certainty that I *** hate Sailor Moon and Trinity Blood)
Anyway, granted I haven't seen the complete up to date episodes, hell I haven't even seen the episodes I have watched in any particular order. I just have watched random episodes (due to the time I had or things people told me I should watch)...so altogether I've seen about ten episodes (out of order, like I said) but in EVERY episode that I watched omfguberflashbacks. I wanted to die. I'm like WHY SO MANY EFFIN FLASHBACKS?! LAHRD! It's like they'd say "My name..." then they'd have a flashback when they were born "My name is..." then have another flashback "My name is Naruto" and another flashback. It gets really annoying when you're trying to enjoy the show and all you get are stupid flashbacks. Hence my absolute hate for Naruto...though Orochimaru and Jiraiya are good in my book.

I've seen a few episodes of Shippuuden (again, random episodes based on people telling me what I should watch). It moved too slowly, for me at least. Though what I've seen didn't have the annoying flashbacks, that was good at least.
