I then got a new computer when i was 11, its a windows xp pro i have tons of games on it that never get old. i was a die hard playstation and computer fan for yrs, now i am rooting for xbox 360. i miss the good ol days when u wake up and breakfast is on the table, then u go watch ur fave saturday shows, and play mario. i wish those days would come back, but just like most things good thing allways have an end.
so i guess i basicaly tought my self to play.
Tuesdays in the 90's I was in bed by 8:00 and home by 11:00 oh

My mom brought home a playstation when I was 5 with Spyro: Riptos Rage and this racing game. Nobody taught me how to play. I just pressed buttons and learned what to do lol. Then when i was 6 i got a N64 too and played Pokemon Stadium. Then when i was 7 we sold my Playstation and got a PS2. Then, when i was 7 also I got an SP. Mastered both. Then at 8 sold my N64 and got a Gamecube. First game i evere played was Animal Crossing..and then Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. So on so on mastered the games. Then liek 1 month and a half ago, i got a DS with Wario Ware: Touched and my sis got Pokemon Dash

I am proud to say that I am a self-taught person. No offense meant, but my parents suck at video games. Come to think of it, My entire family does. If I wanted to play I had to figure it out myself. And I am also Proud to say that I did a good freakin job of teaching myself. I have to give a little credit to joe, a family friend, but he only taught me Soul Calliber. Anyway, nobody taught me the basics, I learned by myself.
"And you, too, are one of us, and yet you are not. In your words I hear anger, hatred. I see a darkness that is not cold and lifeless, but is alive and moving, like a living entity. I feel caged, trapped, a yearning for escape."

I learned to play in the golden years of gaming. My uncle taught me on the atari, and I learned to play a game called Dragonfire. I took off and ran with it, and then learned to play Pitfall, E.T., Breakout, and any other game I could find to play. My parents saw how much I liked to play and I was one of the lucky ones to get a NES on release. I still play all the oldies today along with the new consoles. I have two PS2's, an XBOX, a Game Cube, N64, Dreamcast, SNES, and NES all hooked up throughout my house. Yeah, I think my uncle fueled a bit of an obsession with that atari.

No one ever taught me I just watched and observed my mom and dad play.
Boy they were awsome so one day I fanaly worked up the curage to play a
game and boy was I good for a begginer. But's it's sad because my dad
dosen't like videogame's anymore and my mom has arthritis in her
thum's. So it's now up to me to carry on the video game turdition.

I taught myself to play on my old ATARI 2500 system and the old old old PONG system. I still have them both. I got my first NES for Christmas back in 1985! None of my gaming relatives or friends could best me!

i have recently been giving the joy of introducing my little cousin to video games. hes about seven and i got him a GBA for his birthday. i got him metriod fusion and kirby and the mirror or somthing like that. anyways he loves them both and he cought on really fast on how to play both games. and now i get to laugh at his parents (my aunt and uncle) because they are now going to have to go through the endless begging for more video games! MWA HA HA HA HA!!!
