Its just not enough to convince me to actually try to win something like that. If you do win all that happens is someone says "Congratulations, you won the contest but nothing else happens!" so there is really nothing to gain unless you really care about how people over the internet think of you. Some people try so hard in order to be liked around here by proving their intellect, their likeablity, or their skills but what is there really to gain? Not much. You can say that you have been accepted somewhere but online websites are not reality. If you want to try to be repected and liked then you should put effort into it in real life not the internet. Of course if you can eaisly be liked by people on the internet without any effort then good for you but actually trying to put effort into it seems like a waste of time. I'm pretty sure thev'e made new badges overtime. I never saw anything but a mod badge whn I first jioned. Unless they had those badges just saved ready to  use later on. Now it would be pointless, since Random won't do anything for the forums, nor will Dave. So basically, a new badge is out of the question, sadly. The idea never brought up much activity, but it didn't bring up much controversy neither. It was fun for a bit, but like STM, it crashed and burned and just lost all meaning. When I was made the first MOTM, the thread actually was a bit active. That's cause everything in the beginning seems awesome. Eventually, it just lost interest and not too many people cared about it. The inactivity int he Arbi MOTM announcement thread is a good example. And even if we DID continue MOTM, how long would it be before we found ourselves choosing the same members over and over? Not long, I can tell you that. This forum's active members number isn't great, so of course we'd get repetitive with the decisions. It was always a good idea, but we'd be wasting our time taking it any further. I was going to read the bible but got carried away reading Tom Clancy novels....what? He writes better fiction... Member of the Month is suppose to be a fun thing. I will agree on Cheatmaster on one thing, I think that the community should have say on who is the person of the month. After all, it is the members who made CCC possible and it can thrive without the staff. I consider the staff not as mods and admins, but as members. Nothing more nothing less.
