How to have Firefox...secretly... 1:Get a flash drive 2: get the Firefox portable app. 3: run it off your flash drive
Here, I'll make it so rediulously easy for you. Click please:

This is how I get around it at my High school (my college is smart enough to know that firefox isn't bad, and have it installed)
I have a U3 smart drive and I can run "smart" programs on it, I have firefox on it so I can use it at school.
You no longer have any excuses.

Eh, it was on there installed when I turned the piece of *** on, but the teachers cool enough to let you download *** on there so if it wasn't he wouldn't give anybody *** for downloading it. Oh, and I'm pushing it because if he simply doesn't put it as a desktop icon and doesn't have it become a main browser and just tucks away the .exe file somewhere people don't look he can use it, won't get in trouble, and I won't have to see *** quotes anymore.
EDIT: Or, as Pablo said, Portable App would probably be slightly more conveniant and easy, so do that.

Hey DogHog I must say this is a very good idea if you can swing it. Since it doesn't download it onto your computer, you CAN'T get in trouble. Oh And I wouldn't listen to Jigs on this one...

Eh, my idea would work fine, but knowing him he'd hide it somewhere incredibly stupid on his computer. So yeah a portable app would work way better.

Alright so first you in some way defend him now your trying to get him to try to get Firefox?that doesnt make sense.if he cant get Firefox then he cant get it.all he has to do is not qoute, post links, post pictures and all that good stuff.a simple matter that is easily overlooked.

My ideas still viable, but like I said he'd probably hide the app somewhere really stupid, so yeah it's not my fault if you get caught because you put it in a folder on your desktop or something equally retarded.

Dude I'm trying to help the guy, not defend him, or trying to get him to get FireFox. I said that it was a good idea and that if he could get it, it would be good, but i'm in no way "Trying to get him to try to get FireFox" All i'm doing is giving him options...wait...well ok I'm agreeing with Pablo giving him options.

Honestly, it's the easiest option as long as you're not mentally retarded enough to click "yes" on everything during installation so you can click "no" on the desktop icon option and put it in an obscure file by browsing when it asks you to put the app somewhere. I don't know how you keep your *** on your computer, but if I needed to hide something I'd put it in the sample folder in "My Music" since I keep my music on Itunes and my secondary desktop album folder, as nobody ever goes to look in there.

In Canada, milk comes in bags.
