Damnit, I was hoping to blame the gays for this one to. I think kids just aren't raised right these days, I mean hell look at all these spoiled rich kids, technically the majority of kids are pretty spoiled; myself included of course.  Though I believe that my mother did raise me right overall.   I also think that people should be allowed to beat their kids, well not really beat but give them a smack when they don't listen; parents have been stripped of a lot of authority by being unable to discipline their kids with a smack, I mean a kid is screaming in a store, threatening to ground him isn't going to do much, most kids these days get the whole "my parents are commies" idea and just disobey their punishments anyways; now if some punk ass teen broke a rule and got a good smack for it the punk would think twice about doing it again right?    Report     02-23-2008, 3:31 AM Unreal_Arbiter_ Joined on 09-23-2007 Re: The youth of today, has all of mankind's braincells been used up? I agree with you on this one, Dole. My parents smacked me, hell my mom used to chase me around the house with her shoe. I know that was character building because I stopped acting like a little ***. I am a disciplined person [ I think]. I've seen too many kids not getting smacked and they are usually the ones who turn out to be naughty little ***. Kind of both. The parents do their job taking care of us and giving us our basic needs. It's the parents fault for when us asking for something, they finally give in. My little sister who is 13 is Spoiled rotten. Not by me but by our mom. If she wants to stay up late she can, She can almost do whatever she wants. My mom always gives in to her.
