It is a joking matter if you know for a fact that they're joking.  The only time that this wouldn't really apply is if they kept on about it and kept joking on about it then it would be a 'not joking' manner and have some degree of being serious. But it wasn't.  They said it once (and briefly I might add) and then said they were joking.  Everyone else since has pretty much said 'good luck with your new job'.  Just relax a bit, ne? I was just saying how I feel. I think say your gonna kill some one because their mexican is... You know what? Forget about it. I guess your right but only to a certain degree though. I don't fully agree with you. There's a difference between a small joke and a joke stepping...never mind I'm rabbling again. I'm just gonna say this. Would any of you say that in a room full of mexicans? He was only kidding about killing the mexicans, my god. I find this rather funny because I should be more angry about the comment than you but I'm not. If he were really serious then we'd have bigger issues on our hands. But the fact is that he was joking admittedly said so after his joke. I'm half mexican, would I ever say stuff like that in front of 'em? Probably not but that's just the way I am. Back in like 9th grade, there was a comedian (well actually he wasn't all that funny) and he was making jokes about Mexicans (he was a mexican himself). Halfway through, people literally started throwing whatever items they could get their hands on at him. They were friggin pissed. The crowd was full of mainly mexicans, so its understandable. But in that case, he never said he was joking until the VERY end of his skit (which was like 20 mins at the least). In our case, he said it like two seconds after he made the joke about killing mexicans. You can obviously tell he was joking. GamingFanatic, I know. I've already let it go. I was never holding on to it in the first place. I was just making a point. Most people know when your just joking and when your lashing out. I have no problem with good times and jokes. I'm not a stiff. Well, not completly. I'm simple saying that there's a line and you should try not step over it. I'm just letting them know the line is there and don't cross it. You know like when kids are playing a game you tell them not to play the game in the street. I'm not telling them not to play the game. I'm just telling them not to play the game in the street. They were close to the street and I told them so. That's it. I'm not excited. I'm not enraged. I'm not upset. I'm just saying. That's all. It's not as big and as important to me as you think it is.
