I agree, the movie was stupid and sucked. However it is not like the first book. They changed a lot of the events around and missed a lot of good parts from the book. When I was watching the movie, I became really pissed of because I thought a lot of people who hadn't read the series would assume its like the movie. My final point: The book is a million times better than the movie and do not be persuaded not to read the book because of it.
So bored...

The Eragon series is one of my favorites. And it is true that the movie sucked somethig fierce. Hollywood never manages to make a good movie from a book. Except maybe for a handful of stephen king novels.
