That's the answer that you will get if you post a thread asking to be a mod. That's the first rule on my guide to teach you on how to become the second highest position available to only those chosen by our administrators. DO NOT MAKE A THREAD ASKING TO BECOME A MOD. If you do, you shall immediately lose your chances of EVER becoming a mod here at CCC. The correct way to become a mod is to follow the following steps I've listed for you.
-Post quality posts, as in don't post a post containing one word or something stupid like "lol" or "ok cool". Try to maintain to the topic at hand rather than yap all the way through the thread, and try to say more than just one sentence. Members here actually enjoy reading what one has to say, and you can make a very good first impression by showing you're not the average newbie that likes to stop by for some help on a game and then leave immediately afterwards.
-Stick around the forums, and get to know the members. Become one of the "normies" here. -If you want to become a mod, you're going to have to read the rules, because if you one day become a moderator, you're going to have to enforce them, not to mention follow them (but everyone has to do that). Bending them every once in awhile is alright, but we normally just let spam slide if you've built quite the reputation here. Do not think you can get away with anything the second you sign up.
-Use good grammar. Capital letters, punctuation, the works, in your posts. We do not have one mod that ever write in MSN talk. Below are the do and don't of good grammar. Do: Hey, have any of you guys bought the game "Metal Gear Solid 4" yet? I just got it the other day. It's insane. Don't: hey hav n e of u guys boht the game "metal gear solid 4" yet i jus got it the otha day its insane.
Follow these steps, stick around for awhile, and you just might make the cut. But remember...
DO NOT ASK REVEREND SHADOWS, CDOGG, OR THE SAVAGE TO MAKE YOU A MODERATOR.
