To clear things up, I am pretty sure "Dre" is Dre's online friend name. Antwan and TY, who also play under "Dre" are either friends or live in the house with Dre. ( I think Antwan might live in the same house as Dre, with TY being a friend of theirs) If you notice, they all progress from screen-to-screen at exactly the same time: that tells me they're playing either from the same network or Wii--probably Wii. It's also the reason why you see Antwan join as "Dre" ( does "Dre wants to join", with Ant actually joining, ring a bell?).
Also, has anyone beaten Herby? I'm not sure whose friend he is, but I have been struggling to beat him lately. Actually, he might be friends of either UN1, RED, or AXEL--who are friends of Dre.

Roland, I don't know what's going on. Last time I saw you on there was almost two weeks ago. i've done nothing to your account in relation to mine. There are several internal and network errors that can cause things to slow down drastically, where if you try to do too much for it to handle, it stops completely and occasionally unintentional things will happen, good or bad.
Sk8ter, no I don't. I haven't gotten to it yet. I'm not much for using the bullshit Wiimote for playing games ( I'm still trying to find out how it's anything like virtual reality in any sense. it's not, just hype.).
Once I do get it I will come straight to here and immediately play online with you guys.

Dude...Ever heard of CONTROLLER CONFIGURATIONS/OPTIONS? You can play Mario Kart with the GC pad. (I personally think that works best.) The Wii Wheel is incredibly fun and responsive though. I think any hard-core gamer could be happy using just the Wheel.
And I'm glad you will be getting Mario Kart. I have been beaten so many times by you in Brawl I want revenge! LOL Seriously though, I could pwn any of you guys on Mario Kart. I have over 6000 online (VS) points.

Maybe you could beat me at first. But I just have a knack for things which have simple ideas behind them ( i.e most games).
Is it 50 dollars? I'm kind of in a tight spot right now. I can do 40, but 50 makes me eery.

Yes. The game and Wii Whell are packaged together for 50$...Trust me though. It is WELL worth it. I like Mario Kart better than I do Brawl....I think that says enough in itself...
And if you like playing games online, get Mario Kart. The online leaderboards and playing others is AMAZING. It works 10 times better than Brawl and the global Time Trials and Tournaments are pure genius.

And for all of you who thought that this game isn't for hard core gamers....Think again. It would take a hard core like most of us to beat the world champion. (Which I haven't been able to do...Yet)

I must admit, the supposed quality of online play is making me crap my pants, but I like Brawl better because, like most fighting games, it requires a lot of quick, precise thinking to succeed. Racing games are more of a dragged-out concept, with occasional instances where you must think extremely quickly. They aren't as challenging.

They are in some instances.
But trust me. The quality of the online play is not supposed. It is AMAZING! You get online, chose between playing with friends, playing with strangers worldwide, or playing with strangers in your region. Once you pick that you go to character and car/motorcycle selection screen. After picking that you choose between automatic drifting or manual drifting. After that 98% of the time it has already found at least 7 people to race against. Ity shows the opponents Miis and where they are playing from. If the opponents it chose are in a race, you watch them live. If they are waiting too, you join immediately. After you are joined, you vote on a course to race on and at random a course gets chosen from the votes. Then you race! I have only been disconnected a few times and that was due to my slow internet.....By FAR, Mario Kart has the best online experience of ANY online game I have played...Including Brawl.
