umm..i honestly dont remember the other characters playing in that match Fox. i was sitting in front of the TV watching when i posted so yeah.....prolly and Ike..there seems to be MANY ppl that use him online.

I know thats messed up. Why does everyone have like one character to use online? I have 5. And on a side note. I hate Ike. I'm sorry to everyone that uses him. His attacks are probably the slowest ion the game. I like people with swift (Sadly weak) Attacks. Thats why Meta-Knight and Sonic are my best. Not to mention the whole Star Fox crew. I was really hoping that Wolf wouldn't be such a clone. I guess he is though. What are you guy's thoughts about it?

thoughts about Ike of thoughts about clones?
about Ike, i also dislike him. too slow, same as snake which used to be my fave till i actually started thinking about strategy...now i barely use him.
and about clones...they said they were trying to eliminate clones...thats crap. in my opinion wolf and falco are the same as fox, zero suit samus and samus being 2 different characters is completely whacked. even though i am a fan, lucas is very similar to ness and should not be in the game...toon link is a clone....i cant think of many more off the top of my head. i really hope if they make another smash game, that it has a very WIDE variety. no more stinkin clones.

Yeah that would be cool, but think about it. how many characters are in the game not counting clones? Not many. They can't make another game if they take the clones out. The roster will be too small. But about that Samus thing... I think that thats the perfect way to add characters, Because if they made ZS samus a seperate character, then she would have been another clone. but by making it so there were two characters in one, they cant even say that ZS is a clone because you have to use samus to play as her. (Although I like the fact that you can hold down the shield button while selecting Samus or Zelda to play as their "Alter ego" I guess you can say?)

i love ike... hes awesome, but i dont like it when characters are overused (*cough sonic... i guess ike too) i dont use him often, but i got use to his timing. and im pretty good with him.
as for clones. i know they made them less... cloney, but still. i'll admit toon link, ganon, lucas... and i forget who else. may be like clones in a way, but who cares? honestly. some clones are better then the host character (IMO) anyway. falco is, but isnt a clone, if that makes sense to you, hes not as cloney as toon link to link, or falcon to ganon. but he is similar in ways. wolf is a whole new character, no matter what way you put it hes not a clone. sure he has the same FS (FS' are a waste anyway) and sure his B moves are (barely) similar.... but uh... yeah he s a different character... you can even argue falco is, considering how much he's changed since melee.

Um yeah Wolf is what I like to call a modified clone. Meaning that he is a clone none the less, but doesn't seem it. He has the same base moves as falco and fox. Although more so Falco.
- standard special - Blaster - Slower, more powerful, but the same
- forward special - Wolf Flash - EXACTLY the same, just on an upward slant
- Down special - Reflector - EXACTLY the same, just different look
- Up special - Fire Wolf - Executes quicker, and kicks away *The most unique move of his in my opinion*, but still basically the same.
Trust me Meta, I don't want him to be a clone, because he's my second best, but I really think that he is.

hes my second best as well. but i guess its all a matter of opinion. nobody in the game is a clone because a clone would be exactly the same (i didnt even call em clones in melee) they're similar, not the same, theres a difference. some people prefer some of these "clones" over other characters. example. i chose dr mario and falco over mario and fox.
the special moves arent all EXACTLY the same, im not talking about looks here, i mean the effects. i'll admit they are all the same style, i cant deny that. but whether they look similar, and have the same style, thats fine, would you rather of had these "clones" more like they were in melee? where they were almost exactly the same. i'll explain that another time since i gotta go soon anyway.
anyways, it doesnt really matter to me whether they're clones or not. they're still awesome... except ganon, i hate him more than i did in melee (at least i could use him in melee)
im not gonna start another fight with you too now. as i said, it's all a matter of personal opinion. so long as i can use them, they can be cloney all they like (and the more characters, the marrier)
modified clone sounds like an ok thing to use too.

Oh yeah I'm not trying to start a fight, we're just talking here. But yeah that is true its a matter of opinion. And by the way about the Falco and Dr. Mario thing... Its funny you said that because that was the same as me, Falco was my best in melee. But I still to this day wonder... what was the difference in Dr.Mario and Mario? Like you said: Effects wise I mean.

oh yeah they prolly inflict the same amount of damage.
so has anyone created any cool stages in "stage builder"?? i have made some crazy ones and some that are a blast to play. if any of you [that i know] want, we could exchange wii codes and i could send you a few.
i will warn you though. most of the levels i make, are mainly created for playing with real ppl "locally". the computer players are too stupid to know how to be...king of the hill for example. [thats one of my levels]
