Oh sweet Jesus, I love you Savage. Thanks for making this thread finally. Those threads were pushing me towards insanity. Yes, little things can bug the hell out of me. Stop staring.
Anyway, I'll post my fav and reasons why later when I'm on a better computer.

My favorite of all time has to be star wars battlefront 1 for the PS2. That game has great levels and the armies have a much better classes that er more even than in the second iteration. Overall, the game is very close to perfect...

Final Fantasy Tactics
I've beat the game so many times I can pretty much predict every move, which reminds me, when I'm done Wild Arms 3 I'm going to replay FFT, it's next in my list of games to beat every year.....you have some strange routines to you know.

as you all should know at this point, its The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time.
i know that sounds like such a typical, thoughtless answer, but rest assured when i tell you, that i DO in fact love this game more than msot other people. easily more than everyone else on this site, thats for sure. my proof is my rock hard knowledge, of not only every aspect of the game itself, but but boundless ammounts of glitches the game holds. i own four versions of the game, and have fully completed files in each of the slots on each of them.
over all, this game is worthy of being my favorite game of all time. i was playing it yesterday, and i plan to play it sometime today as well. its just the ***.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and Final Fantasy VII. Both are the epitome of their genres, and everything from the gameplay to the story is top-notch.
Here's the eighth (5/4) installment of my signature, which will consist of lyrics from my favorite bands/artists (And ones you should check out):
"So ***, the flocks, of sheep that keep amassing masses, Asses being led so far astray. And I won't claim to believe the things I read, Black books or agenda magazines, I'd rather see in shades of gray. -Tomas Kalnoky (Streetlight Manifesto)

I wanna sound typical and post the "Grand Theft Auto, or Zelda" but my fav game of all time is Megaman Battle Network.
And you know what? I have no idea why. It just feels so.. PERFECT. The only thing better is Battle Network 2 (its bigger, and has better web areas) Even the graphics are before its time. The isometric, RPG style gaming was just something so untouched it was intriguing... It saddens me to see how downhill the games have gone since the 3rd one...

For me I would have to say Tiger Woods 2005 on my Xbox, I don't know why, but that game totally ran my life for the first 6 months I owned it. For the PS2 I think God of War. That game still never ceases to amaze me, it had it all, graphics, story, relatively uncomplicated game play. Just awesome.
