Just thought I'd inform you all that Speed Grapher is now airing on IFC, before Witchblade (8:00pm or 11:00 pm, depending on if you have cable or dish and time zone; Friday nights). One warning though: it's one step away from hentai so...ehm...unless you're desperate, don't watch. Though I find it to be funny and sexy at the same time. My favorite line from episode one is when the girl pointed her gun at the guy's head and said "Don't make me self defense you too", threatening to kill him.

Mmmm hentai....I mean yay comedy. I don't think I even get IFC, I'll have to check since they get a lot of really good movies on there and usually have Ninja Scroll on there at least once a month. I still haven't even checked out Witchblade, and you said the breasteses were even comical in that.
I know there's a channel here that has Death Note (that's the name of the show right?) on it, so I might have IFC.

I've never seen Ninja Scroll on here, how did I miss that? Ah well I own it on dvd anyway. They showed Seven Samurai on there last week, I stayed up to watch it (the original movie). IFC gets some good stuff on there.
Death Note is on IFC for you? It's on Adult Swim/CN for me

Death Note was probably on teletoon, it looked alright, except since my dad was in bed the tv was turned down so low that I couldn't hear it.
I love StarChoice TV, I swear there is a episode of The Simpsons on every hour of the day when you have Star Choice, and the movie channels kick ass, with IFC in there of course.

It's been awhile since I saw the sub of Death Note but I watched the dub ep of it on Saturday and L made a joke about Light!
Misa: I don't want to live in a world without Light...
L: Yes, it would be rather dark.
Misa was talking about the person light and L.....lol. I thought it was funny anyway.

Hmm...all I cought out of the episode was that buddy mentioned something about killing a young looking chick (strange how they always want to do horrible things to the children in anime eh?) but knew that her little (i'm presuming dead) buddy there would kill him if he did....and also that his little weird dead like buddy was pretty goofy looking.

Yeah, the volume was so low that I only caught the odd thing they said; the show looked like it had potential, I've always liked animes with a really dark feeling to them. Plus since GF gave me flak for planning to learn mandarin by watching hentai, so I have to watch anime.

Oh, so I'm taking it that the show must be pretty crappy then, last I knew YTV only had crap on it; I figured it must have been teletoon if there was talk about killing people. And river....stop watching Pokemon already.

i think i know what you're talking about. the girl is Misa who has a deathnote like the main character, Light a.k.a. Kira. though she likes Light, she's more concerned about the relationship with him than his world purifying scheme. Light thinks for a while it may be better to kill her, she's a little foolish and may reveal both of them, but she also has a power that allows her to literally see people's names when seeing their faces, which is exactly what Light needs to kill with the deathnote. her "buddy" is Rem, the shinigami (death god) who gave her a deathnote. long story short, because she's a death god, Rem knows when Misa is supposed die, and will know Light's responsible if she dies before that date. so Light's stuck with a high-maitenance girlfriend
